In 1994, Toshi Tanaka and Ciça Ohno began to implement seitai-ho and do-ho in Brazilian lands by means of regulars courses, workshops, lectures and demonstrations of techniques.

In 1995, the master Hiroyuki Noguchi created the Do-ho Project with the proposal of disseminating do-ho, of researching this technique’s possibilities alongside art and of
encouraging the exchange between practicing artists.

In 1996 Toshi created the Fu Bu Myo In group, whose name was given by Hiroyuki Noguchi. Its first formation took shape in Japan during a performance shared by Sachiko Kakuhari, Yoshisaburou Toyozumi and Toshi Tanaka. In the same year Toshi returned to Brazil, where he continued both art research and creation with Brazilian artists, which process lead to the performance O vento que tece – Weaving wind in 1997.
